Looks like a very warm day in the high country today with extreme fire danger. By Thursday we will start to see some clouds with a 20% chance of a thunder storms, that chance will last into Sunday.
At this time I have a 51 at 8200 feet and we have a 57 at 11,000 feet with winds gusting to 9 out the NNW over the high elevations.
Highs should be in the upper 80s today and then back off starting Thursday. Look for mid to upper 70s in the Mammoth Lakes Basin and around Main Lodge.
Lows this week will be in the 50s to low 60s. Winds will be gusty at times 5-15 MPH in town with gusts 15-35 MPH over higher elevations. For your complete weather outlook for the week and beyond use our Mammoth Lakes Weather page.
